DJ Dave K, his real name David Kutlák, a native of Český Krumlov, began his career in 2001, mostly at smaller discos. His musical style is house and melodic tech-house, but the music of recent years is not a problem for him either. After 2 years he became a resident DJ and producer of the most visited Music and Cocktail Bar in Český Krumlov. During that time he worked as a moderator on the Český Krumlov radio ICM, then on the radio Kiss JČ. As a DJ he moved to the Partyhouse and Lanterns Music Bar in České Budějovice. It was 2006 and David was offered to play at the Prague´s Club Mecca and Duplex, where he got into the awareness of the Prague dance scene and until now he works as residents DJ for bar ALIBI. Among other Prague businesses where David worked as visiting DJ in such music clubs as Zlatý Strom, One Club, Riverside boath etc.
The turning point came in 2013 when he moved to the Greek Island of Rhodes where he first experienced foreign playing in such as Statues music bar, White bar or DC music club.
After returning to the Czech Republic, he again followed the famous music bars in Prague, where he met several times with the English DJ and producer Onetrax, with whom he established close cooperation and in 2018 released a joint track "No Excuses" which was on sale around the world.
Nowadays they perform together in France, Spain or England, and David guested in Bulgaria on Sunny beach in Candy club or Sunny deams.
Dj Dave K, vlastním jménem David Kutlák, rodák z Českého Krumlova, začal svojí karieru v roce 2001 a to převážně na menších diskotékách. Jeho hudebním stylem je house a melodic tech-house, ale není mu cizí i muzika let minulých. Zhruba po 2 letech se stal residentním djem a produkčním nejnavštěvovanějšího Music a coctail baru v Českém Krumlově, během té doby dělal moderátora na českokrumlovském rádiu ICM, potom na radiu Kiss JČ. Jako DJ se potom přesunul do Českobudějovického clubu Partyhouse a Lucerny Music baru. Psal se rok 2006 a David dostal nabídku zahrát si v Pražském Clubu Mecca a Duplex, kde se dostal do podvědomí pražské taneční scény a do dnešní doby děla residentiho dje oblíbeného music baru ALIBI. Mezi další Pražské podniky kde David hostoval je třeba Music club Zlatý Strom, One Club, Riverside boath atd.
Zlom přišel v roce 2013, kdy se odstěhoval na Řecký ostrov Rhodos kde poprvé okusil zahraniční hraní a to třeba ve Statues music bar, White bar či DC music club.
Po návratu do ČR, opět navázal na známé music bary v Praze, kde se po nějakém čase potkal s Anglickým DJem a producentem Onetraxem, se kterým navázál úzkou spolupráci a v roce 2018 vydali společný track ,, No Excuses´´ který byl v prodeji po celým světě.
V současné době spolu vystupují např. ve Francii, Španělsku či Anglii, dále David hostoval třeba v Bulharsku na Sunny beach a to v Candy clubu či Sunny deams.
